It’s what drives us to deliver our refreshingly different person-first commitment to care. **Christchurch Central Laundry located in Addington is seeking for a Laundry Assistant to work Saturday-Tuesday, 0630-1400. This is a great opportunity to miss the busy traffic and help our team to provide laundry services across six care homes.
Where you will make an impact:

- Ensuring all care is taken with the residents' personal clothing and returned to owners.
- Operating all laundry equipment as specified.
- Meeting of daily schedule to keep laundry up to date and advising Manager of any issues that impact on the maintenance of this.
- Maintaining clean/dirty delineation areas within the laundry.
- Monitoring of linen supplies and advising line manager of replacement needs.
- Ensure all residents are treated with dignity and respect.

What about you:

- Previous experience working in a commercial laundry is preferred, however not essential as we will provide training.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude, enthusiasm, strong empathy, and a passion for making a difference to our residents’ lives.
- You will be a team player, with the ability to work independently, and who is prepared to roll up your sleeves and get stuck into whatever needs to get done.
- Have reliable transport or travel arrangements.
