- Ventia are seeking an Outage Coordinator to join their team in Islington, Christchurch.**ABOUT THE ROLE**- They will monitor outage related maintenance of all plant and equipment and will be looking after all other tasks associated with outage planning, scheduled/unscheduled maintenance, projects, and transmission lines work within the Canterbury region.**Additional information**
- Based at our substation in Islington, Christchurch
- Minimum 40 hours of work per week guaranteed, Monday to Friday
- Hourly rate range of 34 to 38/hr

**ABOUT YOU**
- 3 years HV experience in a substation environment is essential
- Experience in the High Voltage Electrical industry required
- Demonstrated interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work as a member of a team.
- An ability to work flexibly and adaptively in a complex environment with multiple stakeholders.
- Language Skills - Can correctly interpret written and spoken English information and translate it into the tasks at hand; Fluent verbal English skills; Good written English skills.
- Safety - Ability to identify and control Hazards and risks; Demonstrated high levels of understanding of and adherence to the Health and Safety practices and regulations of the Low Voltage and High Voltage Industry.
