**About the role**:
Downer Energy is a leading provider of end to end services, providing design, construction & maintenance solutions for Power & Gas distribution network owners. We are experiencing business success with strong project pipelines. Committed to meeting the highest regulatory standards, we are aligned with some of NZ’s largest networks, covering up to 30,000kms.

Working on one of our long-term electricity distribution contracts, the Western Customer Connections Lead will be part of a team responsible for the delivery of network projects. Your primary role will be to provide estimation and delivery of our simple connections and ICP requests.

The role includes but is not limited to.
- Understanding customer requirements then passing on the appropriate avenue.
- For simple connections and or ICP requests follow the appropriate approval and pricing requirements to deliver the most efficient opportunity for the customer.
- Follow through the complete project lifecycle for simple connections and ICPs. Including collation of as builts and invoicing.
- Supply work packs to the field teams to carry out work.
- Assist with invoicing of other revenue streams to assist the business.
- Support other business functions when required including operations, project managers and designers.
- Respond to client clarifications in a timely manner.

**About you**:

- Some knowledge of electricity distribution networks is preferred.
- Minimum of NCEA level 1 Maths and English
- Proficient in planning, organising, and working to timelines.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Some use of MS Office and ability to multi-task (pricing several projects at once)
- Detail oriented
- You will be able to naturally liaise with clients, field crews, operational teams, and internal stakeholders at all levels. We’re a collaborative team and your participation, flexibility and passionate manner will fit right in
- Keen to work hard and learn new tasks
- Ability to work positively and collaboratively as part of a wider team
- Able to hold self and others accountable
- Able and willing to travel to projects sites and meetings
