We are hiring for a high performing commercially driven **Commercial and S&OP Manager **. In this role reporting to the Group CFO, you will lead the Group’s operational planning and be a strong commercial management business partner.

This is a great opportunity to join a high performing finance and commercial function and to work with the Group CFO and leadership team on enabling strategies and outcomes while maintaining strong controls and efficient business processes.

**The opportunity - Te tūranga**
- The purpose of this role is to lead the operational planning, financial performance and commercial management of the Group’s Operational and Supply Chain functions. This role has the oversight of S&OP, Capital Management and Commercial Management, all of which enables our position as the market leader for Agri-nutrients in New Zealand.
- The Commercial and S&OP Manager connects the Group’s strategy in terms of shaping the outlook into long-term plans, and shorter-term budgets and in
- year forecasts as well as the Group’s financial and commercial performance. This role presents directly into the Group senior leadership team on performance and key financial metrics. Board level reporting on key outcomes is part of this overall remit.The commercial aspects of this role include commercial management responsibilities for the Group’s manufacturing operations and our national footprint of on-shore supply channels. Including in this is oversight of our domestic freight relationships and contacts and leading our internal supply planning processes. At a team level, this role supports the Group ~$70m capital spend each year and helps to shape local and regional manufacturing and supply strategies. Working alongside the Chief Financial Officer and members of the senior leadership team this role is key to driving a performance culture across the business. As a member of the finance leadership team, this role will also deputise for the Chief Financial Officer from time to time as required.

To be successful in this role, we are looking for the
- Sophisticated internal and external stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Proven ability to influence and lead teams in an environment of competing interests and limited resources.
- Proven experience as a senior commercial leader, leading a planning, and or commercial finance function and / or S&OP processes
- Excellent commercial, financial accounting and financial operations acumen.
- Ability to leverage curiosity and commercial acumen to drive results.
- Experience of excellent business processes and partnering, and the ability to translate across divisions
- Confident to influence and mobilise cross-functional teams to achieve outcomes.Degree qualified, certified accountant, or qualified by experience.
