**About the Role**
This well-established, rapidly growing business specialises in custom metal fabrication. They are a large operation that prides itself on delivering high quality work, with a quick turnaround. Located on the North Shore with on-site parking.

This is a newly developed role for a self-motivated, organised individual, to assist in a busy Workshop Stores area. No experience is necessary as the company will train, however if you have an interest in Engineering and Fabrication, that would be an advantage. Responsibilities will include receipt and dispatch of goods, loading and offloading of trucks, handling deliveries between sites, organising transport and face to face liaison with clients.

To be successful, you will need to be physically fit, with the ability to lift metal parts up to 15kgs and have a clear understanding of Health and Safety processes. Previous engineering workshop experience and a forklift licence would be an advantage, but the Company is willing to train someone who has the right work ethic and attitude.

**Duties**:

- Quality control of completed jobs
- Stores and Stock Control
- Forklift driving to load and unload trucks
- Receipt and dispatch of orders
- Deliveries and coordinating freight & logistics
- Ability to deal with Customers face to face

**Skills and Experience**:

- Extremely high level of accuracy and attention to detail is imperative
- Store and Stock Control experience preferrable, but not essential
- Physically fit
- Organised, efficient, self-managed team player
- Excellent attitude and work ethic
- Strong communication skills
- Clear understanding of Health and Safety
- An interest or experience in Engineering/Fabrication an advantage but not essential
- Forklift licence or an ability to obtain one
- Drivers licence essential
