**KPMG' Deal Advisory Tax** team provides services to corporate and private equity investors to help with local and cross-border transactions. Together with our Deal Advisory colleagues and KPMG’s global network of member firms, we help our clients navigate through every stage of a transaction from deal origination to diligence, structuring and post completion integration and support. We are a one-stop-shop, offering the full breadth of services to support your transaction. Our services are tailored to the needs of our clients and are scaled to suit - from “red flags” reports to detailed formal opinions and binding rulings.

**The opportunity**:

- We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join our growing M&A Tax team
- You will be responsible for leading a team of tax specialists and providing guidance and support to clients throughout the end-to-end M&A process

**Day to day you will**:

- Manage and mentor junior tax specialists to ensure clients receive the highest level of service
- Stay up-to-date with changes in tax legislation, particularly as relevant to M&A
- Advise clients on the tax implications of M&A transactions, including due diligence, tax structuring, legal documentation review and post-acquisition integration matters
- Conduct in-depth research on tax legislation, case law, and relevant tax authority guidance to provide practical and commercial advice and support clients in M&A transactions
- Collaborate with other teams within the firm, beyond the Tax team to provide holistic solution(s) to clients’ M&A needs
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including private equity, investment banks, law firms, and tax authorities
- Manage client expectations and provide regular updates on the progress of transactions.
- Contribute to the development of best practices, processes, and procedures for M&A tax advisory

**What you will bring to the team**:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Taxation, Law or Accounting
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in tax advisory roles, ideally with a proven track record of advising clients on M&A transactions
- In-depth knowledge of tax legislation and case law
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to effectively advise clients
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lead and mentor more junior tax specialists
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
