This is a brand new store opening in November so you will get to work with a fresh team who are keen to make it a success
**Job Description**:
As one of our Bike Mechanics you will be someone who thrives on teamwork. You love it as much as we do when the team is humming and you’re excited to share your enthusiasm.
Day to day you will;
- assist in building and maintaining bikes in order to meet customer demands.
- ensure we have enough stock.
- Understand the importance of bike safety
- Support others where needed
- Maintain your work area to an excellent standard.
**Qualifications**:
Ideally you will have:
- some proven experience in a bike workshop and/or a bike industry training and/or a qualification.
- able to competently and without supervision build and deconstruct all styles of bikes, bleed breaks, service forks and shocks, replace bearings, replace chain drives, tune gears and build and true wheels.
- knowledge of and experience with some of our outdoor products and brands
- a passion for the outdoors
- great communication and the ability to pay close attention to detail.
