EIT | Te Pūkenga is the pre-eminent tertiary education provider across Hawke’s Bay and Tairāwhiti. We seek a Lecturer to join a great team on the Tairāwhiti Campus, Gisborne, teaching Computing at undergraduate level with knowledge of Computing curriculum in the areas of Electronics & Internet, Machine Learning, Mechatronics, Automation & Embedded Systems, and Maths in IT.

The Lecturer in Computing is a key position with responsibility for:

- The delivery of teaching and learning in a current learning context which leads to learner success, meeting standards and expectations that align to EIT | Te Pūkenga strategic direction.
- A relentless focus on equity and ensuring participation where EIT | Te Pūkenga honour and uphold Tiriti o Waitangi.
- The development and use of contemporary assessment instruments.
- Monitoring own performance and responding to learner feedback which leads to improved learner outcomes.
- Supporting learners and their well-being toward success.
- Actively undertaking Research and its dissemination.

The ability to develop and maintain professional networks and positive and constructive working relationships with colleagues are also important aspects of this role.
