**About the opportunity | Te whai waahi**

Reporting to our Control Systems Projects Manager, you will ensure that our automation projects have complete scope including technical architecture, prices, benefits, and reasons for the capital proposal. You will provide guidance to ensure the process of implementing and bringing new ideas & technologies meet business requirements. As part of our high performing team, you will collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders and ensure external contractors are professionally managed.

With a focus on automation and continuous improvement of our manufacturing sites, this is a unique opportunity to develop not only our experience, but the way our environment is shaped for the future and truly make a difference
- Ideally, you will be based in Christchurch or Hamilton and be willing to travel nationally for projects as required._

**About you | Moe koe**

We are looking for a forward-thinking engineer who has a passion for automation and continuous improvement. You will have solid problem-solving skills with proven experience with control systems and ideally have a background in manufacturing system project delivery.

We want to hear from you if you have:

- End-to-end project and contract management experience with exposure to working across multiple projects
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and develop collaborative relationships
- An automation background in networks, PLCs, HMIs and control architecture such as Schneider and Rockwell would be beneficial
- A tertiary qualification in Engineering or Electrical background would be beneficial, but not required.
