We are a small but vibrant team who strive to ensure the education and training environment at Waitaha Canterbury is always positive, and definitely world class. The team provides support to Resident Medical Officers (RMO), Educational Supervisors, and Clinical Supervisors. We deliver a comprehensive RMO teaching programme and implement and review initiatives to ensure we are continually improving the services we provide.

As part of the Administration and Clerical Pay Equity Claim settlement this role has been mapped to National Band 4/Profile 4

**_ The Role:_** Where you fit in**

In this role, you will be responsible for:

- Providing administrative support to the Medical Education and Training Unit
- Providing PA support to the Director Medical Clinical Training
- Liaising with a variety of Waitaha Canterbury staff and external organisations
- Maintaining records and providing documentation as required
- Coordinating bookings for interviews between Resident Medical Officers and their supervisors
- Maintaining regular contact with Resident Medical Officers through our weekly newsletter, texts, and other means, as appropriate

- Previous experience as an administrator or PA (3 to 5 years)
- Advanced user of Excel, Word, and Outlook Mail
- Attention to detail
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity at all times
- Innovative and proactive
