Mō te tūnga | About the role
Are
you a future Medical Physicist? Do you want to play a key role in the clinical
team using radiation to treat cancer?
If
you are careful and detail focussed with the drive to search until you find the
solution to the 1% variance. If you are a good team player and pride yourself
on your strong communication and collaboration skills. If you are passionate
about helping people, willing to think outside of the box and keen to find
innovative ways to design and deliver radiation treatment that is safer and
more effective, then this could be for you

& Experience
How
can you become a Medical Physicist?
You

**will have**:
Almost
completed your BSc with Physics (or equivalent)
OR
Already
commenced or completed your MSc (Medical Physics)
You

**will get**:
Your
first year of funded dedicated study based at Canterbury University to complete
the course work element of the MSc if you haven - t already completed this.
Up
to four years of paid on the job training at your sponsoring hospital to become
a qualified medical physicist including completing your research thesis
Access
to a stable career path in an industry with increasing demand
Take
physics out of the laboratory and thrive in this field with your strong
academic skills combined with your enthusiasm and easy communication style.
