**Āu Mahi | What You Will Do**

You will teach into the growing Software Engineering undergraduate programme, which is accredited by Engineering New Zealand to the internationally recognised Washington Accord. You will also instruct at the postgraduate level and supervise research thesis students.

You will develop a strong, externally funded research programme that complements the Department's present research activities, but is not limited to these topics. You will be encouraged to contribute and extend the department's extensive network of collaboration with researchers and industry both internationally and locally.

Finally, faculty staff are expected to participate in Departmental and University activities and administration, and collaborate with other academics in the Department's teaching and research activities.

The appointable salary range will depend on the skills and experience of the successful applicant and covered by the academic and associated staff collective employment agreement:
Lecturer $82,882 - $100,954, Senior Lecturer $106,258 - $120,514,
