We provide health and disability services to more than half a million people living in central Auckland, regional services for Northland and greater Auckland, and specialist national services for the whole of New Zealand. **Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity**

Are you interested in developing your skills in need assessment and coordinating services for clients with mental illness? This role incorporates the Service Coordinator functions of the previous RCS service.

You will be working with the MH NASC service coordination team based at the Greenlane Clinical Centre. Working with a range of Community and inpatient Mental Health Teams.
You will be working with services across the entire Auckland area. Thus, proven ability to work collaboratively with colleagues within Mental Health Services in NGOs and with other NASCs will be a key to your success.

You will undertake comprehensive support needs assessments and reviews, plan, coordinate, and access services for service users who may have high and complex or multiple needs. There is a duty component to the role, and you will act as a resource person and provide appropriate information to colleagues.

**Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills**

**This role requires an experienced Social Worker or occupational therapist who has worked within mental health. You will be competent in using basic Microsoft packages, including Outlook, Word and Excel and have experience in diary management with ability to use electronic client records.**

**To be successful for this role, you will**:

- Demonstrate ability to plan and coordinate services for clients with high and complex needs.
- Ability to work collaboratively with clinical teams in inpatient and community services.
- Able to work collaboratively with other community-based services including mental health NGOs.
- Able to NASC assessments
