This is an exciting position for a person with a background in research, health or education to be part of the Clinical Education & Training Unit (CETU) based at Waikato hospital, Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora, Waikato.
- This person will participate in a team working on educational and training programmes for resident medical doctors (curriculum design and implementation) in particular prevocational doctors (i.e. their first and second years working after undergraduate qualification), assist with workforce development projects, and gather and collate quantitative and qualitative data to drive educational improvements for resident medical officers (RMOs) in the hospital.

**Mōu | About you**
- Skills and experience you’ll need to be considered for the role:
- Have requisite knowledge and practical understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and how the obligations relate to medical education and healthcare delivery.-
- Be able to work relatively autonomously on various educational and quality-improvement projects.-
- Be able to self-manage your time; (collaboratively with team input) develop a workplan and adhere to it; and manage urgent deadlines.-
- Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills as you would be expected to relate to several key stakeholders e.g. staff at the Waikato Clinical School, RMOSS etc.-
- Have research and statistical skills e.g. a knowledge of different research methods, statistical methodology and applied statistics, be able to use data analysis tools like Excel, SPSS, NVivo and R (or other similar tools).**Mō tātou Ratonga | About our Service**
