Executive Assistant

As an Executive Assistant you will be providing a superior level of secretarial and administrative support to the CEO, with a can-do disposition and focus on client service, quality and continuous improvement to produce high quality work.
This role offers you a large degree of variety and exciting challenges which will require a highly organised approach, a strong focus on teamwork, and the ability to prioritise having regard to urgency that will set you apart.
This role is an 8 month fixed term contact. Role can be based in Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch.
**The Role**:
- Extensive diary management
- Coordinate leadership/insurer meetings
- Providing high level administrative support
- Managing correspondence in a timely and confidential manner
- Preparation of reports in accordance with company standards
- Arranging CEO travel as required
- Co-ordinate and organise various internal and external functions/events
- Handle confidential and sensitive information professionally and with high level of integrity
**The Requirements**:
- Proven experience as a corporate Executive Assistant in the Insurance industry
- A mature approach with demonstrated experience in displaying good judgement, initiative and intuition
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with an ability to work effectively with colleagues across all levels of the organisation and willingness to work effectively as part of a team
- Organised and methodical with attention to detail, accuracy and ability to anticipate needs
- Strong organisational, project management and problem-solving skills with excellent multi-tasking abilities
- Strong client service orientation
- Calm, professional manner especially when under pressure
- Be a self-starter with the ability to work autonomously
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills with a willingness to become familiar with bespoke software
