We are **IBIS BUDGET AUCKLAND AIRPORT**, a stunning 198-hotel room located within the Auckland Airport Hub. Being at the center of all the retail and restaurant outlets in the vicinity, it is suitable for all guests every day from all corners of the globe - that's right, day in and day out we are our guests' first and last impression of New Zealand.

We are looking for a service focused extraordinaire, who is passionate about our guests, creating memorable moments and leading a team, working closely with the Hotel Manager. This exciting opportunity as our **Assistant Manager **could be your next step in forging a career with us.
- Ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Hotel's operation in absence of the Hotel Manager with a high level of customer service provided at all times.
- Ensure there is management support and presence visible on Front Desk and in the lobby during key times throughout the day.
- Process and assist with check-in and check-out of guests when needed.
- Respond to and coordinate emergency situations
- Effectively resolving any issues that may result in adequate compensation to the guest.
- A vibrant, and outgoing personality in order to engage with guests and ensure they have a memorable stay
- Proven leadership experience within a hotel environment
- In lieu of the Hotel Manager, responsible for the smooth service, operations and well-being of the team and guests utilizing your leadership skills to do so
- A team player - encouraging, training, empowering and developing your team to provide exceptional service
- An advocate for Accors Live Limitless loyalty program - being proactive in driving strong results with the team
- Ensure public areas are clean and well presented with regular monitoring

**Qualifications**
You will have:

- A Diploma in Hospitality or Business Management
- Must have PMS experience with Opera
- Must have previous experience as an Assistant Manager in a Budget or higher Hotel.
- Computer literate with confidence in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
