Mechanical Draftsperson

**The Company**
The company designs, manufactures, and delivers projects with specialist industrial machinery and equipment for the Food & Dairy sectors.

They are continuing to grow strongly in both New Zealand and Australia.

They have tried and tested products and are engaged in new product innovation too. Products are customised for specific client projects within New Zealand, Australia, and internationally. Each project includes custom design, manufacturing, product testing, installation, commissioning, and on-going after sales support.

**The Role**
Your skills are needed as a Mechanical Draftsperson as this company want to grow their team size to meet increasing work-flow and demand for their products across the world.

You will be joining an experienced and capable team of 6 Mechanical Designer/Drafters spread across two of their offices. This role is based in their Central Auckland office.

You will be working with models and drawings in Inventor for the companies chilling, freezing, and material handling products, large industrial structures with hundreds of parts and drawings.

This will be project work to customising the designs of 4 main different products so that they work with a client’s manufacturing site, which is typically a large food manufacturer e.g., meat and cheese are the mainstay here.

This is not so much product development; it is more project implementation. As the products are large automated moving machinery and structures there are a lot of moving parts and many drawings to work through for each project.

This is an office based permanent and full-time role. The hours are 40 hours per week Monday to Friday.

**Does this sound like You?**
- Autodesk Inventor 2D & 3D CAD package experience
- Three years plus experience at least in this kind of Mechanical Drafting role
- Vault experience is a nice to have but can be taught
