We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and innovative senior Registered Nurse for the role of Nurse Educator
- Transplant, within Surgical Services.
Ward 71/ (Renal and Liver Transplant) is a busy inpatient ward which provides care for renal medical, hepatology, renal and liver transplant patients. Playing a key role in the multidisciplinary team you will be joining nursing staff skilled in both Medical and Surgical nursing, who understand that fostering a caring and supportive environment is incredibly important to their patients, giving them the best opportunity at recovery.
In this challenging and rewarding position, you will have the opportunity to further develop your great organisational skills and put your well-grounded clinical practice experience to good use. You will get to work collaboratively and innovatively within the Surgical Services teams and will assess and deliver on learning needs.
Alongside your colleagues you will be fostering a positive work environment incorporating the Te Toka Tumai - Auckland values to ensure the Department is a great place to work

This is a permanent, part time role 0.5fte( 20 hours per week), Monday to Sunday.

Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills
To hit the ground running in this role it would be advantageous if you had;
- Minimum of 3-4 years clinical experience within Surgical Services, within Transplant services preferably with a post graduate certificate /

diploma in speciality nursing practice
- Minimum Level 4 practice.
- Proven teaching skills (clinical / academic / programme development ability)
- Promotion and encouragement of a multicultural workforce
