**The Role**

The Synlait Head of Project Delivery and Architecture is a key role in the delivery of transformational projects across the business. The role provides project leadership and programme management as well as directing the work of a team within the Project Delivery and Architecture teams. This is a key role in our team and has overall responsibility to deliver and maintain IS Enterprise Architecture and Architectural Governance Board. You will ensure changes to our systems and projects are aligned with best practice and support our future strategy as a business and within our team.The main responsibilities of this role include..
- Lead the team to help deliver IS Project Delivery and Architecture functions
- Oversee the portfolio of IS projects ensuring capital budgets are planned, aligned to IS roadmaps, and mobilised with frameworks for successful execution
- Develop and maintain IS roadmaps that align programme, project and technical initiatives
- Establish methodologies around project delivery and change, including aspects of Lean, Agile, root cause analysis, etc
- Coordinate project work with existing business teams to deliver successful project outcomes that support the Synlait purpose and ambition
- Ensure Synlait IS systems architectural artifacts (blue prints, road maps etc) are in place and available to guide system change

**Skills and Experience**

To be considered for this role we will require
- Previous senior management experience in leading teams who preferably specialise in project management, business analysis, and architects
- Experience leading a department or managing a team of project managers and/or business analysts
- Experience on a range of IT projects; including large transformational change projects.
- Demonstrated acumen in managing multiple Stakeholders and different communication styles at all levels of an organisation.
- Can provide considered and proactive input to operational teams and processes to help foster a culture of support and improvement.

A University Degree in Business and certifications in Programme and Project management is preferred as is experience in the business/manufacturing/IS field.
