We are currently recruiting for a Hydraulic Modeller to join our fast-growing Water Team in Hamilton to work on Water supply and Wastewater projects and have some involvement in stormwater projects if appropriate.

You will form part of our strong multi-disciplinary modelling and engineering team delivering varied and interesting projects for our key clients.

This is an ideal opportunity for a junior hydraulic modeller to develop their career and assist in the technical direction, future development and growth of the team.

Day to day responsibilities include:

- Provide technical input for the delivery of outputs from modelling projects.
- Some experience undertaking hydraulic model build and calibration along with optioneering/optimisation of design solutions.
- Produce reports and technical documents.
- Progress reporting and client liaison.

**Qualifications**

**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS**:
- Some experience using Innovyze (Infoworks WS Pro and ICM), DHI (MIKE) and GIS (ArcGIS, QGIS etc.) software packages
- Understand and work within financial and programme constraints of a project to meet delivery requirements
- Demonstrated time management and organisational skills
- Assist in preparation of proposals

- Support client liaison, including government departments, local authorities, water and utility companies, and other public bodies.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages

**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**:

- A Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Environmental or similar), or equivalent
