Continental Car Services has an exciting position available for a Workshop Foreman based at our busy service centre in Mt Wellington.

This role will see you lead & mentor a small team of Technicians and manage escalated diagnostic cases where needed, carry out quality control checks to ensure all work is completed to the highest standard. There will also be some hands-on jobs in the workshop when required. You will also be responsible for the following, but not limited to:

- Allocate jobs to technicians, and self-ensuring the most efficient allocation to maximise profitability and efficiency of the workshop
- Ensure a high standard of workmanship is maintained, avoiding re-work and overseeing quality control as required
- Ensure workshop is run efficiently and kept to company and Volkswagen standards
- Provide management and administrative support when required
- Previous experience as a Technician is highly preferred
- Strong diagnostic skills
- Be someone who is happy / confident dealing with customers
- Consolidated VAG experience on either VW, Audi, Skoda, or Seat brands would be an advantage
- Excellent customer service ability
- Initiative and proactive approach
