We are seeking an Team Leader in Palmerston North for one of our intensive support residential services with our youth or young adults.

**About the role | He kōrero whakamārama mō tēnei tūranga**

A Team Leader assists our Tamariki with disabilities to live as independently as possible, as well as leading and motivating their team. Your day will involve a range of responsibilities and could include:
Activities at our residential home and in the community that are meaningful and purposeful to the people, including maximizing independence and support overall health and wellbeing.

Household duties including meal preparation, daily care routines, and personal cares

Working together with a team to implement personal support plans consistently, with effective and positive teamwork and communication

Providing people with a warm and nurturing environment to live in, which is inclusive of ideas and feedback so that each person is supported towards their personal goals

Earn competitive pay rates between $29.25 to $30.25 per hour plus allowance for Team Leader duties.

**What you will bring | Ngā tohungatanga mō tēnei tūranga**

A level 4 certificate in Health and Wellbeing or a similar qualification

Experience working with youth and young adults

Ideally leadership experience, or a genuine desire to develop your leadership expertise

Ability to tailor your leadership approach to meet individual learning styles

A warm, calm, and friendly personality with a passion for supporting people to achieve positive outcomes for themselves

A full NZ Driver License and ability to transport passengers confidently and safely in our disability vans
