Te Wānanga o Aotearoa is a tertiary education provider that is informed by tikanga and āhuatanga Māori principles. He Waka Hiringa - Master of Applied Indigenous Knowledge is a programme that challenges practitioners to consider the holistic needs of indigenous people from a traditional and contemporary perspective. We currently have an opportunity to join our whānau as a Kaiako for this programme.

As Kaiako - He Waka Hiringa, you will work with tertiary tauira in a kaupapa Māori environment, to plan, deliver and co-ordinate a range of educational activities that relates to the programme - and provide pastoral support for tauira from diverse backgrounds.
- Level 5 qualification in Adult Teaching
- Full NZ Driver Licence

You will also have a dynamic personality, be innovative in your teaching practice, have proven experience in a related role, and proven experience in applied indigenous knowledge and rangahau (research). A basic level and understanding of tikanga and te reo Māori is essential.
