- To actively participate in all areas of the business, including but not limited to plasterer To work closely with Project Supervisors, and Site Supervisors toachieve efficient operations and desiredoutcomes.
- Preparing surfaces by smoothing rough spotsand repairing cracks in walls, ceilings, and other surfaceswith joint compounds or other materials.
- Installing insulation boards on floors, walls, and ceilings to help regulate temperature and reduce noise
- Installing plasterboardand other materials used in construction projects to cover walls and ceilings
- Mixing plaster, clay, cement, or other materials to create a workable substance that can be applied to walls or ceilings in various thicknesses
- Preparing surfaces by cutting holes in walls for electrical outlets and switches, patching holes in the ceiling where pipes come through, or patching holes in the floor where pipes come through
- Sanding and finishing surfaces to provide a smooth and even appearance
- Put together and take apart temporary structures, such asscaffolding.
- Ready to learn from on-the-job training whennecessary.
- This role is a permanent role, and the minimum work hours for this role are guaranteed 40 hours/week. Overtime may be required from time totime.
- The location of this role is based in Hamilton, Waikatoregion.
