**Job Description** About this opportunity**

This role will encompass credit risk analysis, credit reporting, audit and compliance. To support the Credit Manager by providing insight into reducing & preventing overdue debt. As part of a larger team of people, teamwork, co-operation, and flexibility is an essential part of this role.

**Your key responsibilities will be to**:

- Mitigate credit risk minimising financial loss. Control, assess & recommend actions to minimize overdue debt.
- Manage suppliers with long lead times
- Debt Collection: produce & analyse credit reports to assist with debt collection.
- Ensure all processes and procedures operate within the Pact credit operating framework.
- Responsible for credit policies & risk documentation.
- Manage the process of using external parties to assist in debt collection or recovery

**Your skills and experience**

Essential:

- Credit Management & Insolvency experience
- PPSR and PPSA exposure
- Sound knowledge of general accounting procedures
- Minimum 5 - 6 years accounts receivable and general accounting experience
- Analytical with problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills both verbal & written

Desirable:

- Experience working in a manufacturing environment ideally for a large organisations Experience working in a Shared Services Centre

Desirable:

- Tertiary Qualification.
- Accounting experience
