You will be based in our head office in East Tamaki and our factory in Ōtara. You can work from home approximately 1 day a week.

Are you up for this challenge?

In this role, you will:

- Ensure that day-to-day IT Applications Support services meet business needs and align with JDE Peet’s company values (Simplicity, Entrepreneurship, Accountability, Discipline and Solidarity)
- Be the main point of contact for our main IT partner Accenture, together with Adrien, our ANZ IT Manager
- Enable the fix by effectively managing Accenture and holding them accountable for meeting our SLAs
- Suggest and work on improvements to local infrastructure and network
- Reprioritise work and support our vendors in resolving priority incidents when the main office & factory are impacted by high priority incidents
- Work on various projects to improve user experience e.g IT onboarding of new associates

For this role as an IT Specialist, we’re looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:

- You enjoy working autonomously and you’re able to drive your agenda
- You have previous working experience in IT, ideally 3 years plus
- You can be the bridge between IT stakeholders and the business, explaining IT in a very simple and understandable way
- You know how to prioritise and when to say ‘no’ to requests, and you are a clear communicator
- You’re organised and stay on top of all that’s happening in IT in NZ
- You’re a great stakeholder manager and maintain a good relationship with both Accenture and your internal stakeholders
- You have valid NZ working rights
- Experience with ITIL v3 is a bonus
