**What you will be doing**

We have an opportunity for an experienced Electrical Plant Maintenance Engineer to join our Rolling Mills Maintenance team. While reporting to the Rolling Mills Maintenance Superintendent you will be leading a team to ensure the smooth operations and required outcomes of the business, the role has a strong focus on providing technical and management skills to optimise the plant and equipment outcomes.

**Responsibilities will include but are not limited to**:

- Daily Supervision and Leadership of the Electrical Maintenance Team
- Supporting the team in ongoing plant and process improvements
- Supporting the plant with personnel and shutdown management

This role is located at our operational site in Glenbrook 131 Mission Bush Road, Glenbrook, New Zealand.

**What you will bring to the role**

Along with your commitment to meeting targets, high-quality standards and safe work practices, the successful applicant will have:

- A tertiary qualification, Electrical trades background and a minimum of five years’ experience in heavy industry.
- Demonstrated front-line supervision and leadership experience.
- Knowledge of SAP maintenance systems and shut management.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capability
- Project management and planning skills.
- Be a team player, able to relate to and develop relationships with a wide cross-section of key internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work under pressure and tight timeframes.

The minimum hours of work for this role is 40 hours per week.

The base salary for this role is approximately $100,000 - $120,000. This role is also eligible to participate in an incentive scheme with a target payment of approximately 15% of base salary (Subject to company and individual performance).
