The School of Computing, Electrical and Applied Technology provides an environment supportive of teaching, applied research and industry/community engagement within a range of programmes from certificate to postgraduate level. As a Casual Lecturer, you'll deliver high quality classroom and postgraduate supervision.

**He kōrero mōu: About you**

You'll have:

- Evidence of active engagement in building diverse, inclusive, and equitable workplaces/environments
- At least a master's qualification in computing related fields (preferably a PhD)
- Advanced communication skills
- Demonstrable practical ability to lecture computing courses and thesis supervision of postgraduate students.
- Strong industry networks
- Active researcher, with capability and passion to contribute towards Unitec's industry and community driven research (see Research Key Area above)
- An understanding or desire to learn te reo Māori, tikanga Māori, and the values and practices of kaupapa Māori
