Our client is one of New Zealand’s largest grower owned post-harvest suppliers. Based in the beautiful Bay of Plenty, they have a history of growth and an uncompromising reputation for looking after their Growers.

In the role of Laboratory Technical Coordinator you will ensure quality control and accuracy of results. You will be responsible for the sample approval processes, ensuring quality results are delivered to customers. You will ensure that equipment, supplies and documentation are maintained to ISO 17205 standards. Coaching and training of lab staff as well lead the annual calibration and maintenance programme for Lab testing equipment also falls into this role.
**Qualifications**
- A good understanding of all laboratory controlled documentation, processes and lab testing systems
- Strong people and communication skills;
- At least 2-3 years experience in a lab role (preferred);
- Influencing, motivating and action orientation skills;
- Attention to detail skills and focus on data integrity
- Solid computer skills at an intermediate level in Excel / PowerBI
- Exceptional time management; attention to detail and problem solving skills
