**About the Role**:
- Able to deter theft, vandalism, and other security threats.
- Monitor customer activity and behaviour, identifying and addressing suspicious individuals or activities.
- Enforce store policies, including checking receipts, preventing unauthorized access, and handling potential shoplifting incidents.
- Collaborate with store management and team members to create a safe and secure shopping environment.
- Communicating & completing incident reporting and investigation
We have a part-time weekend opportunity now available at Whangarei Michael Hill store, however we also have opportunities available in Auckland**_ _**as well
**About You**:
- Have Security &/ or Customer Service experience and a Green COA Security License.
- A clean criminal record & eligible to work in NZ.
- Flexibility - must be available to work at least one weekend day & cover shifts when required.
- Strong communication skills to be able to interact and communicate with the client and take directives.
- Must be professional, reliable, confident & honest
- Possess the ability to engage & build relationships with a diverse range of people.
- Must be highly skilled in communication and leadership
- Possess a professional work ethic and desire to take responsibility
- Strong focus on delivering high quality security-solutions
- Excellent verbal & written English communication skills and attention to detail
- Physical fitness - able to walk and stand for long periods of time
