We are a food distribution company based in Penrose with a deep passion for best quality food for the enjoyment of tantalising New Zealand's taste buds.

We are looking for a highly motivated and goal oriented person for a warehouse to join us in the Auckland region. In this role you would be part of a tight knit team, who ensure the timely and accurate packing for delivery of orders every day.

**About the role**:
The person will be responsible for warehouse duties, assisting in loading up goods into the van in the morning, pick packing goods for dispatch and replenishing stock when levels are low.

You’ll also be operating a pallet machine, which you will be provided with on-the-job training for. There will be other general warehousing duties and keeping the warehouse neat and tidy.

They must be meticulous in their duties and will report to the Warehouse Manager. Applicants will need to be versatile, with a hands on approach and able to cope when the pressure is on

What you need:

- Good work ethic (positive, reliable, honest, punctual)
- Able to work autonomously along and work well in a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- A "Can do" attitude and not afraid of a little hard work.
- Ability to handle high pressure situations and think on your feet
- Takes initiative and a problem solver.
- Fit and healthy. Able to lift 5-20 kg boxes.
- May be required to assist with container devanning at times.

Work hours: Monday to Friday (3 days per week), 9am to 1pm or 2pm.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20-25 per week

**Salary**: $21.20 - $21.80 per hour

- Auckland City, Auckland: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
