**Fitness Team Member | Takapuna Pool and Leisure Centre**

Our Leisure Centres are more popular than ever, and as a Fitness Team Member, you’ll have the opportunity to work across multiple roles within our Leisure centres.

You will have the opportunity to flex your hours up or down to suit your availability week-to-week. The team member's role will vary with Fitness or Customer Service shifts. You will deliver an outstanding, safe, and diverse customer experience across our pool and leisure facilities and contribute to our goal to enable Aucklanders to Get Active Their Way.

This is a Permanent 20-hour position working Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
- Monday 4pm-8pm/9pm
- Tuesday 4pm-8pm/9pm
- Wednesday 7am-11am/12pm
- Thursday 4pm-8pm/9pm

Excellent communication skills, maturity, and reliability are key in this role as is being practically minded and using your initiative where required.

We are looking for enthusiastic, dedicated, and positive people who thrive on client contact and have a proven ability to communicate effectively to provide a high level of client satisfaction through the programmes you deliver.

Joining a proactive and dynamic team, you will be a keen team player with a flexible approach. You will be comfortable to ask questions and build your knowledge to be able to use your initiative to provide innovative and appropriate fitness solutions. With impeccable time management skills, you will be confident with administrative tasks and processes.

We aim to upskill and progress your career, so you can train and take on other functions within our centres, such as Lifeguard, Recreation Assistant and more. By the same token, if we occasionally need some help in other areas such as at our front desk and general customer service duties, as a team member, you may be called on to cover these areas if short-staffed or at peak periods.
