We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced **Full-Time Checkout Supervisor** to join our team. The Checkout Supervisor will play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth operations at the checkout counters, maintaining high levels of customer service, and supervising a team of checkout staff.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise and coordinate daily activities at the checkout counters, ensuring efficient and accurate transactions.
- Train, mentor, and motivate checkout staff to deliver excellent customer service and uphold company standards.
- Monitor cashier performance and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations in a professional and timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Oversee cash handling procedures, including opening and closing registers, and conducting cash audits.
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize workflow and resolve issues as they arise.
- Assist in scheduling and staffing of checkout counters to meet customer demand.

Essential qualities:

- Previous experience in a supervisory role within a retail environment, preferably in a supermarket setting.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and coach team members.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on providing a positive shopping experience.
- Proficient in cash handling procedures.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of POS systems and experience with retail software is preferred.
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
