Join Te Whatu Ora at a key time of change where you will meaningfully contribute to our kaupapa of creating a more equitable, accessible, cohesive and people-centred health system. Can you bring a Pacific worldview to the work we are doing to achieve better health outcomes for Pacific people in Aotearoa? We know many areas of the health system are not working well for Pacific people, aiga, ngutuare tangata, famili, kāinga, magafoa, kaiga, vuvale and kaaiga (families) and communities. In fact, Pacific health inequities are observed throughout the lifecourse, from pregnancy and early childhood through to older age.
In Pacific Health, we have a clear vision of a system that allows the strength of Pacific families and community voice to be at the heart of what we do, delivering equitable health outcomes for Pacific people and a future where Pacific families live longer, healthier lives.
The Pacific values of family, service, love, reciprocity and respect, along with Pacific culture and customs, influence the way we think and every action we take.
The Pacific Health Group have an opportunity for a **Mentally Well Lead** to join our Pacific Intelligence and Insights team. The role will report to the Health Analytics and Insights Group Manager and will provide advice to support, maintain and improve the delivery of Pacific mental health and wellbeing services to Pacific people. The role will work collaboratively with other Leads in the Health Analytics and Insights team (Living Well, Aging Well, Starting Well and Disability Leads) to support a life course approach that will enable Pacific communities to thrive.
