As a Search Executive, you will play a key role in managing and optimising paid search campaigns to deliver outstanding performance for our clients. Your role will focus on planning, execution, and continuous improvement of paid search strategies across platforms like Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and emerging search technologies. Working closely with internal teams and clients, you will ensure campaigns are data-driven, performance-focused, and aligned with business objectives. **Your First Year**:
**In 3 months**:
- Gain a solid understanding of client objectives, paid search platforms, and internal tools (e.g., Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, SA360).
- Take ownership of campaign setup, monitoring, and basic optimisations.
- Build familiarity with performance metrics and reporting processes.
**In 6 months**:
- Independently manage day-to-day campaign operations, including bid management, ad copy testing, and keyword optimisation.
- Identify opportunities for efficiency and performance improvements, leveraging automation tools where applicable.
- Analyse performance data to provide actionable insights and recommendations to internal teams and clients.
- Collaborate with creative and analytics teams to enhance campaign effectiveness.
**In 12 months**:
- Own multiple paid search accounts, driving measurable results and exceeding client KPIs.
- Proactively test new campaign strategies, technologies, and features to stay ahead of industry trends.
- Contribute to the development of search strategies that integrate with other paid media channels and client goals.
- Provide strategic insights to inform future campaigns and contribute to team growth.
**Responsibilities**:
**Campaign Management**:
- Plan, implement, and optimise paid search campaigns across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and other search platforms.
- Conduct keyword research, develop ad copy, and execute ad testing to maximise performance.
- Manage bid strategies and budgets to ensure cost efficiency and ROI.
- Monitor and adjust campaigns in real-time to achieve client objectives.
- Ensure all campaigns adhere to platform policies and brand guidelines.
**Performance Analysis & Reporting**:
- Analyse campaign performance data, providing insights and actionable recommendations to improve efficiency and results.
- Create and deliver regular performance reports, highlighting trends, KPIs, and opportunities.
- Collaborate with analytics teams to ensure accurate tracking and reporting using tools like Google Analytics, GA4, and attribution platforms.
**Automation & Innovation**:
- Leverage automation tools such as Google Ads Scripts, SA360, and platform-based automation to enhance campaign management.
- Test and adopt emerging tools, strategies, and search trends, including audience targeting, dynamic search ads, and Smart Bidding strategies.
- Stay informed about industry updates (e.g., privacy changes, AI features) and ensure campaigns adapt to these changes.
**Collaboration & Communication**:
- Work closely with account managers, creative teams, and analytics teams to ensure campaigns align with broader marketing objectives.
- Communicate performance insights and recommendations to internal stakeholders and clients.
- Participate in client meetings and WIPs to share updates and gather feedback.
**What You Will Need**:
- 0-1 year of experience in managing paid search campaigns, ideally in an agency or performance marketing role.
- Proficiency with search platforms like Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and tools like SA360 or Marin.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using Google Analytics, GA4, or other performance reporting tools.
- Working knowledge of audience targeting, bid strategies, keyword optimisation, and ad copy testing.
- Familiarity with automation tools (e.g., Google Scripts, Smart Bidding) and a desire to innovate.
- Advanced Excel skills for reporting and data analysis.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results on tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field (preferred).
