**About the role**

An exciting opportunity now exists for an outage Co-ordinator to join our highly collaborative and supportive team of go-getters. As the Outage Co-ordinator, to undertake all tasks associated with outage planning Scheduled/Unscheduled Maintenance, Projects and Transmission Lines work for our central region contracts.

On a day to day basis, your responsibilities will include ( but not limited to)
- Compiling Operating Sequences for Scheduled/Unscheduled Maintenance, Project Work and Lines Work.
- Compiling all necessary documentation for work in Transpower Substations Access/Test Permit area, including Isolation Points and Earthing requirements working safely in the Transpower HV Switchyard.
- Preparing Switching Folders for Maintenance Switcher & Field Operators required for Scheduled or Unscheduled Work, including faults.
- Creating Outage Window requests in Transpower’s outage system (IONS) as necessary.
- Submitting Operational Request Form into the Outage Windows in IONS for to intention to work on the Equipment.
- Liaising with Transpower Planners regarding Outage movement, cancellation and extension, including submitting Outage Variation Requests (OVR) in IONS
- Creating, Moving, Extending and Cancel outages in IONS base on the Request received from Ventia Planners, Supervisors and Project Managers.
- Liaising with Stations Ventia Planner regarding preparation for the Scheduled/Unscheduled work & Project Work, including Switching Resources to be updated on the Resource Plan.
- Liaising with Lines Ventia Planner regarding all the Preparation for the Scheduled/Unscheduled work & Project Work, including Switching Resources to be updated on the Resource Plan
- Undertaking High Voltage Field Operating across all our different contracts as required

**Key Experiences & Skills**
- Experience in the High Voltage Electrical industry would be an advantage, but not a prerequisite.
- Demonstrated interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work as a member of a team.
- An ability to work flexibly and adaptively in a complex environment with multiple stakeholders.
- Driving Skills - Full driver’s license and experience driving appropriate vehicles in all road, terrain and weather conditions
- Language Skills - Can correctly interpret written and spoken English information and translate it into the tasks at hand; Fluent verbal English skills; Good written English skills.
- Safety - Ability to identify and control Hazards and risks; Demonstrated high levels of understanding of and adherence to the Health and Safety practices and regulations of the Low Voltage and High Voltage Industry.

You have demonstrable experience in similar role or in a role with a large complex business. Highly motivated, you have excellent organisational and time management skills and take pride in your quest for continuous improvement You thoroughly enjoy working with multiple stakeholders in a busy and fast-paced environment with high stakes. Your attention to detail and time management skills are second to none. Your ability to prioritise your workflow with conflicting deadlines will ensure your success in this role.
