**Trainee / Reinforcing Steel Fabricator/Bender**

Due to increased workloads, we’re looking for more team members.

**About the role**:
Ideally you will possess some experience in reinforcing steel or similar steel trade such as structural, fitting and turning or CNC operation, however a strong desire to learn and the right attitude is what we are really after.

Training will be provided for sole charge operation of a variety of bending equipment, including;
- Small & Large Automated Machinery
- Shearline
- Automated Double Ended Benders
- Manual Benders

**Requirements**:
You will be working as a team, plus be responsible for ensuring that fabrication timelines are being met.

You will be on your feet most of the day and some lifting is required so a reasonable level of fitness is a must.

Good numeracy and communication skills are a positive, “can-do” attitude and the ability to think outside the square will also help. You must be drug free and will be tested prior to an offer of employment.

Must be able to work flexible hours and additional hours if required.

Reofab is a national reinforcing steel fabricator, specialising in the supply, cutting, bending and delivery of reinforcing steel bar and mesh for large and small construction projects across the country.

Located in Lower Hutt, Branch boasts a brand new workshop, new automated machinery lines, state-of-the-art delivery systems and last but not least, a great crew.

**Job Types**: Permanent, Temp to perm

**Salary**: $22.20 - $26.50 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- Afternoon shift
- Flexible hours
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
