**About the Opportunity**:
Develop your interest in RF and EMC measurements to ensure that our advanced radio products and accessories comply with all applicable RF and EMC requirements through testing and reporting results on IANZ endorsed reports.

Your focus will be around test planning and execution, generation and review of test reports and the upgrade and maintenance of test systems. Within this role you will encompass a significant learning dimension so the ability to learn quickly, as well as a genuine interest in the field of RF and EMC test is essential to being successful in this position.

Responsibilities will also include:

- Learning about RF and EMC test techniques and standards, as applied to the company's range of RF communication products.
- Application of learning to the development of type approval test plans, execution of approved RF and EMC test methods, collation of results, peer review (including transcript checks of other technician's reports) and publication of test reports in accordance with the laboratory quality system.
- Development, maintenance, and documentation of manual and automated test systems. This could include construction and installation of sub-assemblies used in the test systems.
- Maintenance of laboratory documentation in accordance with the laboratory quality system.
- Preparation of samples and in some cases assisting in the test setup of samples for testing at an external test house

**What You'll Bring**:
We are looking for someone who has a basic knowledge of RF and EMC Test techniques as applied to radio systems.

To be successful in this role you will:

- Hold a relevant tertiary qualification (NZCE, diploma or degree in telecommunications or electronics) or have relevant industry experience.
- Possibly be a recent graduate that holds a genuine interest in the field of RF and EMC test techniques.
- Have strong motivation to learn new skills essential in this fast-changing test environment.
- Possess strong problem-solving skills at a system level.
- Have excellent organisational skills and attention to detail to ensure the accuracy of test results.
- Actively integrate into the team; Co-operates and work well with others in the pursuit of team goals;
- Have excellent English communication skills to support laboratory customers, write test reports and liaise with other test laboratories and regulators.
- Have strong team skills to work closely with other members of the team, share test resources and participate in the maintenance and development of the quality system.
