**The ideal role if you love spending time and having fun on the water This role is undoubtedly a hospitality job with a difference**

We have an exciting opportunity for a permanent Café Bar Assistant who will be based at Half Moon Bay. Working in this role you will have the opportunity to learn the ropes of a deckhand through assisting the deckhands with operational and safety duties on each sailing.

We are a seven day a week operation with early starts a prerequisite. Your roster will be on a set pattern of three days on and three days off.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Providing exceptional customer service
- Following strict guidelines in food service
- Providing a welcoming and efficient service
- Knowing and maintaining the product
- Assisting the deckhands in addition to café operation

**Requirements**:
**To be successful in the role you must have your own reliable transport and will need to have the following skills, knowledge and qualities**:

- Previous experience in a café or retail environment
- Understanding the principals of the safe sale and supply of alcohol
- Local knowledge of visitor attractions
- POS experience
- A demonstrated ability to work under pressure
- Able to easily adapt to changing work conditions
- Ability to resolve queries with initiative, energy and a positive attitude whilst working as a productive team member.
