Service Delivery Manager - Agency Banking

Permanent Full-time role

Based in Britomart, Auckland

Our Institutional and Business Banking teams support one of New Zealand’s most important assets - its businesses. Westpac’s Agency Banking service gives our partners access to our core banking technology infrastructure allowing them to offer transactional banking services and issue cards to their customers.

Mō te tūranga | About the Role

As the Agency Service Delivery Manager, you will provide consultancy and share knowledge to deliver complex payment solutions. We supply infrastructure capabilities to our agencies, allowing them to deliver banking services to their end customers.

You will be accountable for:

- Managing customer engagements where you’ll take the initiative to identify and execute opportunities and process improvements that add value to our customer’s organisation
- Collaborating within Westpac and our customer’s business to design and deliver market-leading solutions that support improvements in receivables, payables and working capital processes
- Building and managing a pipeline of customer initiatives that drive organisational value for our customers, their customers, and suppliers.

- Proven customer management experience with Business Banking, Institutional and Government customers while being able to work in an ever-changing environment
- Demonstrate knowledge of cards including fraud management, merchant, card switch or scheme experience.
- Sound commercial acumen to ensure the appropriate level of understanding for mid-market complex customers
- Experience in taking a consultative approach to customer engagements
- Demonstrable experience in areas that may range from payments related industries to technology-based businesses or process improvement roles that have delivered end-user service experiences
- Knowledge of banking policies and procedures
