**The Opportunity**
We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced People Lead to inspire and motivate a team of developers to consistently produce exceptional work on our award-winning security products and features. Your mission as a People Lead is to make sure your team grow in their responsibilities, capabilities, and contribution to their value stream and in the wider organisation. Your team is responsible for:
- Implementing automated testing using Ruby.
- Collaborating on the maintenance of and improvements of a legacy monolithic server project utilizing C# and C++.
**The Fit**
We’re looking for someone who is passionate about knowledge-sharing and is keen to mentor a great team. You’ll have at least three years’ experience in commercial development and be comfortable working with multiple programming languages and platforms. To succeed in this role you’ll also have:
- A relevant tertiary qualification.
- Experience leading or mentoring a team of developers.
- Experience with either Cloud apps and Microservice development (C#,.Net, and Entity Framework) or Native Mobile Development (Swift, Java, Kotlin)
- Experience in SQL Server development.
- Experience with developing and supporting REST APIs.
- Experience designing and implementing cloud-based solutions
- Ability to rapidly context switch between different languages and platforms
- Proficient in use of common development environments/IDEs (e.g. Visual Studio, XCode).
- Proficient in use of version control tools and process.
- Proficient in use of debugging tools relevant to the product. The experience and ability to track down problems in products using these tools.
- Proficient at designing and documenting features or modules that are a part of a product or project.
- Has been an active contributor to a successful project in a collaborative team environment.
**It’s **not a dealbreaker, but **i**deally **you’ll **also have**:
- Experience with C++.
- Familiar with AWS and Docker
- Demonstrated experience with unit test frameworks and usage of unit tests to improve the quality of software.
- Experience writing automated tests for Mobile or Cloud apps.
