Starship Community has exciting openings for Core and/or Senior Paediatric Dietitians. The Dietitian position is a clinical role working within the area of community Paediatric practice. The role is based at the Greenlane Clinical Centre site and set within a Locality team. You will see families in their homes, clinics, or in school and will work closely with a multi-disciplinary team. You will be supported within the Dietitian team with clinical support from senior clinicians.
Starship Community is an interdisciplinary team of professionals providing allied health, nursing, and cultural support for children, young people, and their families/whānau, living within the Auckland DHB area. Service delivery is via an interdisciplinary team approach, centered around four guiding principles;

Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills
Ideally, you will have previous Paediatric experience, although applicants with the right qualifications and keen interest in providing excellent Paediatric nutrition care will be considered. There are opportunities for ongoing professional development, with regular supervision and peer review.
You will also provide nutrition support to other health professionals in Starship Community Services. You will have the opportunity to develop working relationships with clinical dietetic colleagues within the Auckland region and the wider community.

**To be successful in this role you will**:

- Be a New Zealand registered dietitian and hold a Current Annual Practising Certificate
- A current and clean full New Zealand drivers' licence
- Postgraduate experience or maturity demonstrated by a range of life skills
- Readiness to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team environment
- Willingness to participate in supporting students
- An understanding of evidence-based practice
