At Whānau Āwhina Plunket, people are at the heart of what we do, our teams of nurses & health workers care for pēpi and whānau across Aotearoa on a day to day basis, providing reassurance and clinical advice in homes, clinics and in community settings.

Our team support our frontline leaders to empower, develop and set the strategic goals in to practice. We are looking for an engaging, experienced HR Business Partner to join us in a **full time permanent position** based in **Hamilton, Tauranga **or **Christchurch.**

**Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity**

This is an exciting time to join Whānau Āwhina Plunket, you will support new initiatives to transform our culture and support managers as we transition into new ways of working to deliver on the priorities of Te Pae Tata (Health reforms).

You will have opportunities to coach willing and receptive managers across all stages of the employee lifecycle including providing guidance on change processes and complex HR and ER matters. You’ll also lead the delivery and implementation of organisational development initiatives. This is a broad HR business partnering role where you can get involved in all aspects of generalist work.

Incorporating our pro-equity principles into our people plan adds another dimension to this mahi, ensuring this position has plenty of variety and complexity to keep it interesting.

**He kōrero mōu | About you**

Your ability to facilitate workshops and present in a compelling nature will support you to deliver key initiatives which focus on growing the capability and confidence of managers to lead change, lift performance and drive accountability.

You will have extensive experience coaching leaders to navigate performance and ER situations and enjoy using your critical thinking skills to figure out solutions to complex problems.

Your own leadership skills will be on show, as you will have an HR Advisor as your direct report. Working together, you will provide support to leaders from the Mighty Waikato through to the Southern tip of Te Wai Pounamu. Connecting with kaimahi both in person and remotely will come naturally to you as you work with stakeholders.

You will be proactive, change orientated and have a positive, forward-thinking approach. Your relationship management skillset and ability to influence and coach managers and junior team members will be key in supporting and empowering our kaimahi to forge ahead living our values daily; kia māia - to be courageous, kia māhaki - to be humble, kia manaaki - to care and kia tūhono - to stand in relationship.
