**Medical Management Unit Coordinator**

**Permanent & Full Time**

Te Whatu Ora Lakes is looking to appoint an experienced medical staff coordinator to lead the Medical Management Unit (MMU) based at Rotorua Hospital.

This role has responsibility for overseeing the work allocation within the MMU, including Resident (junior) Medical Officers (RMOs) contractual, rostering, education and professional development activities, recruitment of senior and junior medical staff, departmental outputs, internal and external relationships and working within financial targets and departmental plans in accordance with the overall strategic direction of Te Whatu Ora Lakes.

The successful applicant will at all times demonstrate and foster a positive image of the MMU and Te Whatu Ora Lakes, thereby facilitating retention of RMOs within the organisation.

This is a busy role which works under the pressure of strict deadlines and short notice cover requirements. This role requires a person with strong organisational skills who process driven, methodical and orderly in their work practice. They must have and a proven ability to prioritise and meet deadlines, whilst keeping track of all things that need their attention.

The successful applicant must have proven rostering skills, be competent in the use of Microsoft Excel and Word, together with a pleasant personality and a welcoming and helpful demeanor at all times.
- Salary range: $77,695 - 82,030 per annum
