The Opportunity

We require an experienced and highly motivated Class 5 Truck Driver to join our hardworking and friendly team based in Gisborne. As a Class 5 Truck Driver you will be responsible for a wide range of responsibilities including:
- Bulk carting- Metal spreading- Chip sealing with a roller spreader- Transport of smaller plant on tow behind transport trailers- Operating diggers & loaders to self-load on certain sites

You’ll use your good people skills to build genuine and lasting relationships with our customers, and our people (we’re one big whanau). And you’ll have the skills and experience to help us achieve our strategic objectives.

What we need from you
- Previous experience as a transport driver essential.
- Minimum Class 5 license, with WTR endorsement.
- Proven experience transporting plant and machinery
- Ability to operate diggers and loaders to self-load on sites
- A good attitude toward the maintenance and care of machinery.
- Understanding of and compliance with NZ Transport Regulations.
- An unwavering commitment towards living safely with a safety record to match.
- Be a friendly team player.
- Be self-motivated & driven to succeed.
