We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced servant leader, assigned to our Te Rangapū Hauora Māori (Māori Health) team as a Kaiurungi (Release Train Engineer), controlling the urungi (steering paddle) of our waka hourua (Agile Release Train) as we deliver kaupapa Māori solutions within a te ao Māori Agile way. Kiritaki and whānau are at the ihu (bow), always at the very forefront of all intention and direction of our waka hourua.
Sharing leadership accountability for the waka hourua with our Kaiwhakatere (Product Manager), the Kaiurungi’s primary responsibility is to optimise flow of kauapapa Māori outcomes through the waka hourua, by role modelling and facilitating te ao Māori Agile ways of working, including waka hourua ceremonies, eliminating impediments, managing risk, and driving relentless improvement.
The Kaiurungi also plays an important part in contributing to the growth and maturity of the Kaiurungi RTE Practice and ACCs wider Agile Community.
**To be successful in the role you’ll need**:
- Senior leadership experience across large delivery teams
- A good understanding of te Reo Māori me ōna tikanga, and Māori culture, values, political and social systems; and an ongoing willingness to develop in these areas
- Mātauranga Māori
- Proven capabilities in financial, contract, resource, risk, dependency, and stakeholder management

You’ll be joining an awesome Practice of experienced Kairungi RTEs, supported by Agile coaches, a Practice Manager, and a large and knowledgeable Agile Community to help you deliver great outcomes for ACCs clients.
**Working at ACC**
The salary range for this role begins at $134,001. Remuneration will depend on the skills and experience of the successful applicant. ACC also offers additional 9% superannuation.
