**About the role**

We are seeking someone to join the team over our peak summer season for IT support. This role is additional to a team of two IT Support Engineers and the wider IT department based in the Ferry Building (99 Quay Street, Auckland CBD).

Reporting to the IT Support Manager, you'll provide level 1 and 2 IT support and technical advice to users split across our sites and vessels as well as assist with user on-boarding, off-boarding and project work.

This role is tasked with managing, maintaining and documenting all physical security for Fullers including locks, security cameras and safes. Additionally there is a cyber security component to the role, monitoring, resolving and patching for incidents, breaches, and vulnerabilities.

We operate 7 days per week 365 days of the year hence this is a rostered role which will see you work over weekends and public holidays. Due to the nature of our operations the IT team may need to provide afterhours support which includes answering phone calls, providing remote support, and escalating when necessary.
- This role is a Full-time, fixed term role for 40 hours a week
- Fixed term role is for 6 months initially
- You will be required to work rostered shifts which includes weekends

**Your background, skills and experience**:

- An interest in IT
- Tech savvy with a hands-on and proactive approach including the ability to think of your feet
- Active listener with strong verbal and written communication skills as you'll provide user training
- Availability and willingness to assist outside of normal business hours.

**Desired**:

- Any experience as level 1 & 2 IT Support gained in a complex organisation with multiple sites
- Exposure to a retail or hospitality including Point of Sale (POS) hardware and software highly beneficial.
