**Location: Hamilton**
**The Role**:
The Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for both deployment and maintenance of infrastructure solutions for both on-premises and in the cloud. Critical to the role is providing technical thought leadership across the Enterprise infrastructure and technologies to ensure robust and maintainable solutions are delivered and operated across the organisation.

**Responsibilities**:
Infrastructure Management and Support
- Support and maintain virtual infrastructure and services both on
- premises and in the cloud.
- Monitor system’s performance to ensure optimum performance as required by Service Level Agreements.
- Develop and maintain scripting in support of infrastructure systems using automation to support both maintenance and operational efficiencies.
- Develop and implement strategies for ensuring system reliability, availability, and scalability.

**Essential**
- 5 plus years of experience in Infrastructure deployment, support, and performance monitoring within an Enterprise organisation.
- Experience with Linux, Windows and IoS
- Sound knowledge and experience of working with Microsoft Infrastructure technologies and services such as Active Directory, Azure Entra AD, ADFS, Microsoft 365.
- Highly proficient in scripting and automation using technologies such as Microsoft PowerShell or similar.
- Sound knowledge and experience in working in cloud: Microsoft Azure and AWS
- A good understanding of server and storage infrastructure architectures and systems.
- Good knowledge of ICT technologies and infrastructure architectures.
