**Your Opportunity**:
As part of our dynamic team, you will be working on a number of sizeable projects that we are delivering across New Zealand including significant water and wastewater treatment plants. This role will be responsible for reviewing technical quality of engineering and design tasks while supporting Project Managers to ensure on time and budget project delivery. Working closely with the wider team and managing relationships is a key element of this role. In this role, you will assume responsibility for monitoring the outcomes of the programme with specific oversight over the technical engineering inputs.**Your Responsibilities**:
You will be responsible for managing Engineering and Design teams, ensuring their efficient and effective performance. This involves overseeing the overall allocation of resources required for specialist design and engineering inputs, ensuring timely project delivery.
- You will play a crucial role in coordinating engineering, utilities, drawing, mapping, and cost estimation resources, ensuring seamless collaboration and effective program delivery. Additionally, you will verify the overall engineering and design processes and outputs to maintain high-quality standards.
- To track and report on the timeliness of delivery, scope, and budget, you will manage engineering/design processes and deliverables closely. Collaboration with Technical leads and wider project teams is essential to ensure cohesive teamwork and successful project outcomes.

- Your experience in bringing together and leading cohesive teams on challenging projects will be highly valued, as it plays a crucial role in achieving project success.
- In terms of qualifications, you should possess a degree in Mechanical, Process, or Civil Engineering, ensuring your technical expertise aligns with the demands of the role. Professional certification as CPEng (Chartered Professional Engineer) is preferable, as it further demonstrates your commitment to excellent and adherence to industry standards.
