This is a fantastic opportunity to lead the Discovery and Service Design team tasked with translating strategy and policy into ready-to-go service designs. While this role is part of New Zealand Government Procurement (NZGP) within MBIE, you don’t need to be a procurement professional.
You get to build and then lead a flexible team of service design experts. You will design and deliver best-practice discovery, feasibility and service design practices and frameworks within NZGP.

This role reports to the Head of System Improvement and Engagement within NZGP, as part of a newly formed team focused on engaging with the procurement system to drive cultural and behavioural change.

**We are keen to hear from you if you have**:
› A wide-ranging knowledge of, and experience in business analysis and service design, and understanding of different contemporary methodologies.
› A solid understanding of discovery, feasibility and service design processes and principles.
› An ability to think strategically and analytically and translate ideas and concepts into concrete actions.

Applicants must be New Zealand citizens or New Zealand permanent residents and be eligible to obtain and maintain appropriate security clearances.
